Coaching Philosophy
Most adults learning to swim hit a wall — not because they lack fitness, but because they lack a roadmap. They grab a workout PDF that doesn't fit where they are, struggle with technique no one ever taught them, and quit somewhere between "I can swim 25 yards" and "I want to swim a real workout."
The Adult Swim Method is a 5-product system that fixes that. Each phase has one job, one outcome, and one buyer at a specific stage. They chain together into a journey — from your first lap to swimming 2.4 miles, then on to championship-level training.
Built for adults with real lives. Designed by a coach who's been there.
The Coach
Endorphin Designs was created for athletes who understand that the miles, the laps, and the long runs are more than workouts — they're a way of life. The Adult Swim Method was built because too many capable adults give up at the pool for lack of a roadmap.
Katherine Vargo is a USMS Level 1 Swim Coach, certified personal trainer, and functional aging specialist based in Pittsburgh, PA. She's completed two Ironman triathlons, races dragon boat on the Allegheny River with the Pittsburgh Paddlefish, and has been logging races on Athlinks for two decades.
Every program comes from real coaching experience — technique-first, progressive, and designed for athletes with real lives. Structure, intention, and results.
